If you're planning your wedding, consider having the entire celebration at Coohills. The historic walking bridge that leads to our outdoor dining area is a perfect setting for "I do's" and it would be hard to find a more scenic venue for pictures - memories for a lifetime!
Coohills' space is unique, from the expansive windows in the main dining room to the spacious outdoor patio with a beautiful view of the Cherry Creek and the historic walking bridge, just steps away. The entire restaurant can hold up to 400 people, the smaller private room can hold up to 40 guests and the larger room can accommodate up to 100. When combined both rooms can seat up to 140 guests and with combined rooms and additional community seating we can seat up to 160.

INFORMATION
The Wewatta Bridge located directly in front of Coohills is a beautiful backdrop for a wedding ceremony, reception or space for a unique outdoor dinner. This is a public space that we temporarily reserve for the day.
We apply for a Special Event Bridge Permit to occupy this space for the day and there is a $300 permitting fee for us to apply for this. They ask for a 6-8 week turnaround time for approval. Coohills will apply for this permit for you. There will be a mandatory $100 bridge clean up fee, which will be pre-charged and refunded the following day if cleaning is not required by our staff. The Special Event Bridge Permit allows access to the bridge from 10:00AM – 10:00PM the day of your event.

Rentals:
Chairs, tables, bar set up, décor and/or any set up requirements must be provided by an outside rental company or personally provided. Coohills does not provide this since we do not own the property. Please see our vendor list for rental companies we have worked with on previous events. The City of Denver requires that the bridge be closed off during the event, stanchions can be rented from any of our event rental companies (client to provide this) in order to avoid any pedestrians trying to walk across the bridge during your event. Coohills will provide detour signs directing pedestrians across the street.
Noise Restrictions:
Due to the fact that we are a part of the “Good Neighbor Policy” in our area with all of the residential buildings that surround us, there is a strict 10:00pm cut off time for music of any kind on the bridge itself. Clients have the option to continue with the music inside of the restaurant for the duration of their event. *See Noise Ordinance section in contract

I wanted to write this email to let you know that everything was absolutely perfect for our wedding on the 30th! Devin, you did an amazing job capturing my vision of the set up of everything. It was exactly how I envisioned things and there were so many compliments on everything.
The Food was also superb... again, many compliments on the hors doeuvres and all the plated meals. The salad, the bread, and all the entries looked and tasted delicious.
The wait staff was awesome! Everyone was so accommodating, friendly, and attentive.
The cake was perfect.. again exactly how I pictured in my head.
I just can't say enough thanks to the three of you for helping organize everything these past few months. It has been a pleasure working with each of you, and I will be sure to send anyone I know your way!

Hi Diane,
Our rehearsal dinner on Friday was beautiful and absolutely perfect! The food was phenomenal, as always, the staff was perfectly attentive and very professional – my father in law gave an impromptu speech and when they saw it happening they quietly stepped in the room to turn the volume of the music down – and the room was great! I especially thank you for accommodating the special meal request for a pepperoni pizza from my young niece! I completely neglected to request a child’s meal ahead of time and our servers could not have been kinder helping to fix my mistake.

Thank you so much for the well wishes and congratulations - you certainly deserve a lot of the credit for helping us put together our vision of a perfect, casual celebration. I can't tell you how many of our guests have come up to me with kind words about the ceremony, the venue, the courteous service, and (of course) the utterly delicious food. Please let your pastry chef know that several guests told me the wedding cake was among the best they have ever tasted - I have heard that piece of flattery from other non-guests who were simply helping us dispose of the wedding cake leftovers!
We certainly appreciate all of the background coordination and the phenomenal attention to detail. None of our guests with food sensitivities reported any problems and one guest (with a cinnamon allergy) was beyond thrilled to realize she could enjoy all of the desserts! It was an absolute pleasure working with you, and we won't hesitate to recommend Coohills to others. Rest assured - we enjoyed the experience so much that we plan to use you for all of our future weddings! (joking aside - you will certainly see us for our anniversary!)

Diane, Shayla, thank you and your TEAM for the incredible rehearsal dinner experience. We arrived late causing a bit of a scramble to get the folks seated and left later than planned but you adeptly accommodated the changes. Your waitstaff was superb - timely, attentive and efficient. Make sure to thank them for us. The menu was appropriate and the cuisine incredible from the bread pepper truffle-infused salt butter all the way to the bread pudding (wow!) for the final course.
Thanks for making our visit a great memory. We hope to thank you in person next time we are in Denver.

Sorry that I didn't send you this note sooner! After the wedding, we headed off to Vancouver for our honeymoon and have been go, go, go ever since. We wanted to tell you thank you for a wonderful evening. Actually, let me rephrase that. We wanted to thank you for the best night of our lives so far! It was perfect. We received endless compliments on everything: how beautiful the venue was, how incredible the food was and how wonderful your staff was. Alexis was phenomenal. Our table absolutely loved her - she took such great care of us! All of your staff was so sweet to the kids and made sure the parents were happy and had what they needed. Plus, one of your staff members said my sister's toast was the best bridesmaid toast ever, so that got extra points in our family's book!
The cake was so cute and even better than I expected. Plus, the macaroons were a huge hit - they were delicious, adorable and coordinated so well with our wedding colors and theme. I am only sad that we didn't get to enjoy the appetizers and desserts because everyone said they were so good! Apparently, the risotto balls and the bread pudding were everyone's favorite items. Everything was so well organized, detailed and looked gorgeous from start to finish.
Everyone always says that the bride and groom don't actually get to enjoy the wedding, but that couldn't be further from the truth for us. We had such a fun time and when I look at pictures, I can't imagine it being any more perfect or in any better of a place. We are so thankful that we found Coohills and are lucky that we were able to host our friends and family there for our big day. It was an amazing start to our marriage and new life together and we will always remember what an incredible night we had.
Thank you for all of your help along the way and making sure everything went so smoothly. We will be back soon to celebrate again...maybe for our one month anniversary, one year or just any old night we feel like enjoying the lovely space and remembering our night.

My wife and I got married here. The owners are very attentive and all the staff made our wedding even more memorable. The food on the day was fantastic and my dad still talks about it. Even when we come back to visit, the food is very high quality and the staff are great. Today we sat on the patio and watched the sunset, which it was fantastic.
