Proud to be:
A chef since 17, Tom Coohill began his love affair with French cuisine at L’Auberge des Champes in Kentucky. Tom trained under Master chefs at the three-star Michelin L’Oustau de Baumaniere in France, the five-star Mobile Le Francais in Illinois and Ma Maison in Los Angeles. In 1992, he opened the highly acclaimed Ciboulette restaurant, which was ranked in the top 10 by the Conde Nast Guide and in the top 25 nationwide by Esquire magazine. Widely featured in the national media - including CNN, The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal - Ciboulette maintained its place as one of America's most popular restaurants by offering masterful dishes of modern French cuisine. From 1995 to 2002, Tom also owned and operated Coohill’s Steakhouse & Bar in Atlanta. The desire to enjoy Colorado’s climate and great outdoors prompted Tom and Diane to relocate to the Mile High City.
Although Tom has won the U.S. Chef’s Open, the Georgia Seafood Challenge, Georgia Chef of the Year and Chain des Rotisseur’s Award for Dedication to Culinary Arts, his most treasured achievement is creating a gratifying culinary experience for all of Coohills’ guests.
Diane’s restaurant experience goes back 25+ years. She founded the Atlanta Catering Managers Association and served on several committees for the Atlanta Restaurant Marketing Association. As the Director of Sales & Catering for the Peasant Restaurant Group’s 19 locations, Diane was recognized as one of the most respected sales professionals in the Atlanta market. In addition, she managed the sales, marketing and special events for Ciboulette and Coohill's Steakhouse while in Atlanta.
Diane’s attention to detail, and her energy and commitment to delivering the ultimate dining experience, will make your event at Coohills a memorable one. (Click here to see the many kudos the restaurant has received since opening in November of 2011.)
